Hi, my voice is likely to be the first one you will hear when you call into our office. I have worked with Dr. VanDevanter since 1997. I am an appointment coordinator, which gives me the pleasure of welcoming patients and families to our office and helping them schedule appointments. My mission is to serve our patients and provide appointments that work the best for them. From our initial meeting to completion of treatment, my goal is to be your friend and advocate. Patients find me to be a knowledgeable resource for school schedules and a dedicated partner in making their time with us a pleasure.

Hello, I joined Dr. VanDevanter’s team in 2007, but have always made my career in dentistry. I moved back to the Pacific Northwest to be near my family in 2007. Since returning home, I have been blessed to be married and my husband and I are expecting our first child in late 2010. I schedule appointments for families and also bring my enthusiasm to our office contests and the growing area of internet communications. I look forward to getting to know our families and following them through treatment. A beautiful smile at the end of treatment gives a person confidence and builds great self-esteem, and it makes all the hard work worthwhile.

I have been Dr. VanDevanter’s Treatment Coordinator since 2001. I have a degree in Communications, and my special role in the office is to guide and educate each patient through treatment. The orthodontic profession has undergone dramatic changes in the last ten years; all of our patient information is now digital, and options for treatment can include Invisalign Teen, self ligating brackets, and clear braces. It is my privilege to help patients/families understand these options, so that they can begin treatment with confidence. I live with my husband and teenage daughter in Auburn. I know firsthand how busy the life of a teenager can be. You and your family will be well cared for in this office and I’ll enjoy sharing this process with you.

Hello, I have been the Financial Coordinator in Dr. VanDevanter’s office since 2002. We strive to make orthodontic treatment affordable for everyone. I’m here every day to assist you with the financial and insurance aspects of orthodontic treatment. I will be your resource to maximize your insurance benefits and flex spending. I enjoy being able to help our families through the financial process. It makes me feel good when I can reduce the stress of the process so that patients and families can enjoy the gorgeous smile they’ve waited for.

Hi, I have worked with Dr. VanDevanter since 2002 and in the orthodontic field since 1991. I lead our clinical team and we are proud of the excellent patient care that we provide. Orthodontics is a very rewarding field because it continues to innovate. The way that treatment is provided now is very different than when I was a teenager. Our office is constantly incorporating treatment advances that improve the patient experience and result.

Hi, I have been part of Dr. VanDevanter’s clinical team since 2001. Laughter and warmth are an important part of excellent clinical care. We work hard to give patients smiles they will be proud of, and I like them to practice using those smiles during our visits. I can’t imagine a better career than helping people smile. My husband and I have three children and I will work as hard encouraging your children towards their dazzling result as I did with my own middle school daughter.

I enjoy orthodontics because I am a ‘people-person’ and I enjoy developing friendships with our patients. I’d like their appointment to be the highlight of their day!

I joined Dr. VanDevanter’s clinical staff when I relocated to Federal Way in 2006, but dentistry has been my career since 1996. My role is to work one on one with Dr. VanDevanter and our patients during the adjustment appointments. I love knowing each patient and really enjoy social networking. We have a lot of fun in our office, and you can see some of our patients and staff events posted on facebook. I look forward to knowing our patients on a personal level and seeing them change as they achieve beautiful smiles.

I joined Dr. VanDevanter’s clinical team in 2008. I have firsthand knowledge of the value of a beautiful smile, because Dr. VanDevanter did my braces when I went to Todd Beamer High School. Now I’m working to help others achieve a beautiful smile. My favorite patients are small children that come in without any experience of orthodontics, and sometimes not even much knowledge of dentistry. If I can make them happy to be here - it makes my day! Providing encouragement and gentle care are my goals.
