Hi, my voice is likely to be the first one you will hear when you call into our office. I have worked with Dr. VanDevanter since 1997. I am an appointment coordinator, which gives me the pleasure of welcoming patients and families to our office and helping them schedule appointments. My mission is to serve our patients and provide appointments that best fit their busy schedules. From our initial meeting to completion of treatment, my goal is to be your friend and advocate. Patients find me to be a knowledgeable resource for school schedules and a dedicated partner in making their time with us a pleasure.

I have been Dr. VanDevanter’s Treatment Coordinator since 2001. I have a degree in Communications, and my special role in the office is to guide and educate each patient through treatment. The orthodontic profession has undergone dramatic changes in the last ten years; all of our patient information is now digital, and options for treatment can include Invisalign Teen, self ligating brackets, and clear braces. It is my privilege to help patients/families understand these options, so that they can begin treatment with confidence. I live with my husband and teenage daughter in Auburn. I know firsthand how busy the life of a teenager can be. You and your family will be well cared for in this office and I’ll enjoy sharing this process with you.

Hello, I have been the Financial Coordinator in Dr. VanDevanter’s office since 2002. We strive to make orthodontic treatment affordable for everyone. I’m here every day to assist you with the financial and insurance aspects of orthodontic treatment. I will be your resource to maximize your insurance benefits and flex spending. I enjoy being able to help our families navigate the financial process. It makes me feel good when I can reduce the stress of the process that patients and families can enjoy the gorgeous smile they’ve waited for.

Hi, I have worked with Dr. VanDevanter since 2002, and in the orthodontic field since 1991. I lead our well- trained clinical team and we take pride in the excellent patient care that we provide. Orthodontics is a challenging and rewarding field because it is always evolving. The way that treatment is provided now is very different than when I was a teenager. Digital imaging, Virtual 3D computer models, and Invisalign are some of the improvements that make patient care much better today. Our office is constantly incorporating treatment advances that improve the patient experience and result.

I joined Dr. VanDevanter’s clinical staff in 2006, but have been involved in dentistry since 1996. My role involves working with Dr. VanDevanter and you during your appointments. I love knowing each patient and really enjoy social networking. We have a lot of fun in our office, and you can see some of our patients and staff events posted on Facebook. I look forward to knowing our patients on a personal level and seeing them change as they achieve beautiful smiles.

I joined Dr. VanDevanter’s clinical team in 2008. I have firsthand knowledge of the value of a beautiful smile, because Dr. VanDevanter did my braces while I was attending Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way. Now I’m working to help others achieve a beautiful smile. My favorite patients are small children that come in without any experience of orthodontics, and sometimes not even much knowledge of dentistry. If I can make them happy to be here - it makes my day! Providing encouragement and gentle care are my strengths as I work my hardest to ensure that everyone’s trip to the orthodontist is a positive experience.

I am a clinical assistant for Dr. VanDevanter. I am a passionate person and have a passion for orthodontics! I wanted braces my entire life but didn’t have them until adulthood, in fact my braces just came off in 2013! Changing my smile made a major impact in my life and my self-esteem. I love coming to work knowing that every day I get to be part of this life changing experience for others. I grew up in sunny eastern Washington and have lived on the west side only a short time. My pride and joy are my two adorable boys. When we are not at sporting events we love to fish, dance and soak up the sun.

I grew up in Auburn and recently graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Molecular Biology. My aspiration is to be a dentist and have my own dental practice one day. I am very excited to join Dr. VanDevanter’ team to observe dentistry in action and to start learning many of the skills I will need in my career. I’ll have the pleasure of meeting you while assisting Dr. VanDevanter take the x-rays and photographs of your teeth during your treatment. I enjoy making people comfortable in all aspects of their orthodontic treatment.
