Dr. VanDevanter donated all retainer fees collected during May 2010 to “Sound to Narrows” to support health and wellness. In addition, she and her staff participated in the 5k walk in June. Sound to Narrows participants supported MultiCare's Center for Healthy Living's mission to build healthy children and families in our community. Research indicates that a healthy lifestyle may prevent up to 70% of common life-threatening diseases, including heart disease, stroke, cancer and diabetes.
Dr. VanDevanter and her staff know that it's hard to be indoors during good weather, so they reward patients that have appointments in August with ice cream. That's right; August is ALWAYS ice cream month at Dr. VanDevanter's office! Patients and siblings with appointments in August will leave with a delicious ice cream treat.
