Dr. Camille VanDevanter grew up in the Puget Sound area, and studied undergraduate Chemistry and Biology at Western Washington University in Bellingham. She received her dental degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and came back to Seattle for her orthodontic specialty training at the University of Washington. In addition to being a published author, she has been a part of the Federal Way dental community since 1991 and has been recognized as one of our regions "top orthodontists" by her peers. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, Washington State Society of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, Seattle King County Dental Society, and The Club of Orthodontic Study. Dr. VanDevanter lives in our community. She has been married since 1982 and she and her husband have three children. She enjoys getting to know her patients (one quarter of whom start treatment as adults) as they experience the challenges and rewards of treatment.
